Profile
Few people know that the tyrannical Queen Vespara was once a minor noblewoman who, despite being descended from the Fae Lords of Tir’Galdur, was not considered particularly special or remarkable — back then you probably wouldn’t have been able to pick her out of a crowd. However, it was when she started secretly practicing the art of glamour, a branch of magic that had long been banned for mortals, that her true potential… and her true capability for power-grabbing and magical enslavements… showed themselves.
It wasn’t that much of a shock to the people of Tir’Galdur when the newly-renamed “Queen Vespara” appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started gaining followers, claiming to be the chosen one of an ancient prophecy… but it was slightly more of a shock when the reason she eventually took over Tir’Galdur was because she was angry that people were calling her a Lord Waric wannabe, and that she only ruled for about three years before being defeated and dethroned by a rebellion lead by White Sorceress and the Familiar Four.
Vespara spent decades trying to make a comeback, several of which was, after an interrupted attempt at making five year old Holly Blackthorne into her vessel for immortality, spent as a disembodied spirit possessing five year old Davinia Duskvale. When Davinia was twenty, Vespara decided to reveal herself to the world and once more took over Tir’Galdur and declared herself Queen. Again her reign only lasted a couple of years before she was defeated and dethroned again; this time her spirit got trapped in a magic flute, which was locked away in a secret vault in Coven’s Refuge.
While Vespara’s never been able to rule as Queen for more than a few years at a time, she’s still been quite successful in sowing chaos and disruption among her enemies, and her influence and reach is much bigger than you might think at first.

Important Relationships
Holly Blackthorne:
For years, Vespara has borderline obsessed about Holly Blackthorne and turning her into vessel for immortality. Ever since Holly’s parents fled Tir’Galdur with her when she was a baby, Vespara has sheen Holly as “the one that got away” and has sworn to one day get the girl as her vessel… or at least as her mind-controlled slave. Unfortunately, the flame mark on Holly’s belly makes her immune to Vespara’s magic, so Vespara is dependent on using other people in order to get to Holly. And of course, even though much of it came down to chance, it was Holly who ultimately struck the final blow against Vespara during her second reign and got her spirit trapped in the magic flute.
Davinia Duskvale:
Davinia was Vespara’s “backup” vessel for immortality. For almost twenty years, Vespara’s spirit possessed Davinia, though for most of that time, especially during Davinia’s childhood, she only controlled the girl indirectly… mostly as a voice in her head that gave her “advice” and fed her ego. It was only when Davinia was an adult that Vespara fully took control of her and completely suppressed her. While she was eventually exorcized and her spirit trapped inside a magical flute, there is still a certain bond between Vespara and Davinia, and most people agree that if she ever manages to escape her imprisonment she’ll have no problems possessing Davinia again.
Countess Lucinda Duskvale:
Davinia’s mother was one of Vespara’s closest allies, and some people suspect her to have been the real brains behind Vespara’s takeover of Tir’Galdur. While the Contess outwardly insists that she had no idea Vespara would possess her daughter, most people agree that the Countess not only knew but approved… she was perfectly willing to sacrifice Davinia’s freedom for her own personal gain.
