Powers and abilities:
When Jenna sleeps she gains the ability to turn into Sleeping Spectre, who has powers of flight, energy absorption and the power to sense evil (or at least “evil” as defined by her Mistress). While only vaguely aware of what’s going on around her, and unable to see because her eyes are clothes she can always orientate herself and always knows exactly where her target is, as well as where her Mistress is and what she wants. Magical jewelry protects her against the elements and most types of harm.

Weaknesses:
Her powers only work when she’s asleep, and when she’s asleep she is barely aware and has no free will. When awake she has no powers whatsoever, and no memory of what she did as Sleeping Spectre.

Jenna Lee Foster is a small-town girl brought into the big city: She’s quiet, she’s pretty, she’s a little overwhelmed at the constant super activity, and she mostly does what she’s told. There doesn’t seem to be much that’s especially notable about her… that is, until she falls asleep. Because it’s when she’s asleep that her metahuman powers manifest and she becomes the white-clad, pale and eerily silent Sleeping Spectre.

In her hometown of Harmony Heights, Jenna operated for years (without ever realizing it) as the floating, cloaked vigilante Nightshift, who would fly above the town and swoop down to drain the energy of criminals. Jenna remained completely unaware of her sleeping double life, until Rosalyn Westwood, the young billionaire heiress, took an interest…

Now, Jenna lives in Paragon Bay. She has her own suite at Westwood Tower and is officially Rosalyn’s personal assistant. Unofficially, though, she’s more like a mix of sidekick and sex slave. It was Rosalyn who gave her the new identity of Sleeping Spectre — complete with a custom outfit, enchanted mask, and tons of subtle and unsubtle mind control and brainwashing spells that keep her docile and obedient, and completely in love with Rosalyn.

Jenna’s powers remain entirely unconscious. When awake, she’s harmless. But when asleep, she becomes something else: quiet, graceful, and dangerously efficient. She doesn’t remember most of what she does in that state, but she has long since stopped caring. She just accepts it whenever Rosalyn hypnotizes her so sleep or making her drink a sleeping potion so that her superpowered self can come forth to play. Or fuck.

She isn’t a hero, exactly. She isn’t quite a villain either. At this point, she mostly just is — floating through the strange, glamorous nightmare that is Paragon Bay, and obeying her Mistress.

Jenna is a metahuman, but her powers only manifest when she’s asleep. For years she was the silent vigilante Nightshift, who went out at night and floated high in the sky, occasionally swooping down on criminals to drain their energy — all while deeply asleep and not having any idea what was going on. Rosalyn has since “re-trained” her to become “Sleeping Spectre”, and now whenever Rosalyn goes out as Dream Jewel, she either hypnotizes Jenna to sleep or makes her drink a sleeping potion, so that Sleeping Spectre can join in.
